Here's a first.
As the current assistant editor for Cosmic Roots and Eldritch Shores, the online magazine of science fiction, fantasy, myths, legends, fairy tales, and eldritch fiction and art, I had to reject my own story on the site's electronic submission manager (a story submitted before assuming the role):
Editor Notes to Author (if any): "Thank you for your submission, Dr. Bob. Sorry I'm rejecting myself. But you're still one handsome and lovable guy."
